Ukraine Forces reclaim over half its territory from Russia – US boasts

The United States (US) said Ukraine Forces have reclaimed over half of its territory seized by the Russian troops since 2022.

The US Secretary of State, Antony Blinkens, made this known on his X handle @SecBlinkens, while commenting on the Eastern Europe Crisis and US support for Ukraine.

Blinkens said, “Ukraine has reclaimed more than half the territory Russia seized since 2022. The new arms and equipment we announced today as part of continued U.S. assistance will help sustain Ukraine’s battlefield needs. We still Stand with Ukraine.

In another development, “At least 11,000 Ukrainian children are reportedly being detained at 43 re-education camps across Russia, thousands of miles from home, the UK’s Ministry of Defence said on X, and Russia may begin full mobilisation after the 2024 Russian presidential election on 17 March, secretary of the national security and defence council of Ukraine, Oleksii Danilov, has suggested.
