Tinubu Woos Youths to Work with him

…promises to Unfold Programmes Beneficial to Youths

President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has called on Youths to work with him in creating a safe, secure environment and a united front against external threats and challenges.

Tinubu made the call today in Abuja during the 2023 Commonwealth Youth and Students’ Summit, tagged ” theme “Co-creating our Common Future Leadership in the Digital Age in Africa.”

Tinubu who was represented by the National Youth Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Dayo Israel, emphasised on the need for collaboration between the government and youths towards addressing security and peace that brings development.

He said “We must work together to create safe and secure environments for ourselves and our communities. We must reject violence and extremism and promote peace and harmony. We must also work to create a united front against external threats and challenges.

According to him, peace brings growth and development and with security investments can be attracted to pursue Africa higher.

Speaking on his plans for youths, Tinubu said: “We will unfold programmes and initiatives that are beneficial to our youths in the areas of Youths Advisory Council, Presidential Fellowship Scheme, Business Incubation Centres, MSME Academy, Consumer Credit, and Sports Revolution. Greater inclusivity in governance for our youth now is important for our future.”
