Taraba to Engage Traditional Leaders for Security Enhancement

…as Gov pledges openness to criticisms

As part of the strategies to incorporate peace and security in Taraba State, The Governor of Taraba State, Col. Agbu Kefas has revealed that, the State would be engaging the expertise of traditional leaders in enhancing security.

The Retired Colonel disclosed this during an interactive session with newsmen in Television Continental TVC, today.

In his words, “Based on my assessment and the level of my expertise as a retired colonel, I can say that Taraba State is peaceful.

“However, to improve more on the state of security, we would be involving every stake holder, including the expertise of the traditional rulers to serve as informants on any security threat to the State.”

More so, commenting on the induced achievements in his 100days in office, the Governor stated that he is opened to criticisms.

He said, “I cannot know how much I have achieved without being informed. I will appreciate it if people notify me on my actions in order to keep me on check when I am going wrong.”
