UCL: PSG Beat Man City in Thrilling 4-2 Comeback

On Wednesday night, Paris Saint-Germain defeated Manchester City 4-2 in their UEFA Champions League thriller thanks to an incredible comeback performance.

A thrilling second half that demonstrated the Parisians’ attacking ability saw them overcome a two-goal deficit.

The first half had some memorable moments but ended without a goal. The match began tensely when Nuno Mendes of PSG and Ruben Dias of Manchester City were both given yellow cards in the first twenty-three minutes.

Achraf Hakimi had a chance to score, but a crucial VAR call in the 45th minute kept the score at 0-0 going into halftime.

The second half began with a goal from Jack Grealish for Manchester City in the 50th minute. Three minutes later, Erling Haaland took advantage of PSG’s defensive errors to double their lead.

But PSG was not going to back down. Bradley Barcola helped Ousmane Dembélé rekindle the home team’s hopes with a goal in the 56th minute. Four minutes later, Barcola equalized the score with a calm finish after Djed Spence Doue’s pass.

When João Neves gave PSG the lead in the 79th minute thanks to a set from Vitinha, the tide completely turned in their favor.

Deep into stoppage time, Gonçalo Ramos scored in the 90+6′ minute to make it 4-2, capping the victory as City pressed for an equalizer.
