Sudan War: Air Peace to Fly Nigerians from Egypt

Following the recent evacuation of Nigerians from Sudan to Egypt as a result of the Sudan War, Air Peace is set to fly Nigerians from Egypt.

This was made known by the Chairman of Air Peace, Barr. Allen Onyema via the Commission’s Official Twitter Account @flyairpeace today.

According to the report, the plane took off earlier today from Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, at 15:10 hours.

“Our wide-body Boeing 777 with Registration Number 5N-BVE took off from the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, at 15:10hrs today to Egypt to airlift stranded Nigerians consequent upon the ongoing crisis in Sudan.”

In the same development, the Chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora, NIDCOM, Abike Dabiri-Erewa @abikedabiri revealed that all the evacuees have been moved to the Nigerian Embassy in Egypt and are being prepared to for flight by Air Peace to Abuja.

She revealed, “Nigerian Embassy in Egypt has moved all evacuees from the Sudan side to the Egypt side of the Arqeel border, with priority given to the females. They are now being prepared for their departure to Abuja through Aswan Airport as Air Peace has just landed.”
