In the wake of Senatorial leadership debates, Former Presidential aspirant now All Progressive Congress (APC), Chieftain, Adamu Garba has said the Senate President should be from the north for a balance of power.

Garba said this today in post obtained from his verified Twitter handle, @adamugarba.

He said, “if the senate President is coming from the South, it means both Executive, Legislative and Judiciary leaderships will all come from the South. This is not a balance.”

“To balance things up, the Senate President should at least come from the North. This is not too much to ask!” He added.

According to him, the north have majority vote count hence the North need a strong representation with the leadership of the National Assembly.
