Name Road After Afuye, Ekiti Youth Parliament Urges Oyebanji

The outgoing speaker of the Ekiti Youth Parliament, Rt Hon Toba Fatunla has called on the Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji to name the road from Fajuyi to House of Assembly after the late  speaker, Hon Afuye.

Fatunla spoke  after signing the condolence register on behalf of the Ekiti Youth Parliament.

The Youth Speaker who expressed shock and sadness at the sudden demise of the late Speaker said it is important to name a befitting state infrastructure after him.

Speaking further, Rt Hon Toba Fatunla lamented saying, the Speaker was already planning to have internship program institutionalized as directed by the Former Governor of Ekiti State for the subsequent Ekiti Youth Parliamentarians.

While commiserating with the Governor, Members of the House of Assembly, His Family and Ikere people, the Youth Speaker prayed that his soul rest in peace, while urging them to take solace in the fact that, he contributed his best to the development of Ekiti State. And he will not he easily forgotten.
