…as teenage mother solicits Financial Support To Nurse Twin

The Honorable Commissioner for Health and Human Services in Ekiti State, Dr Oyebanji Filani has cleared the medical debts of a teenage twin mother who has remained at the General Hospital, Ikere Ekiti, since after delivery.

This was made known today during a conversation with some of the Commissioner’s aides.

The teenage mother, Miss Owoeye Kemisola and members of her family commended the act while describing it as a humanitarian gesture.

Also, the teenage mother appreciated the healthcare staff of the General Hospital, saying that God used the team to save her life and her twin.

ROUNDOFFNEWS gathered that the Teenage mother called on residents and Philanthropists of the State to support her as she nurse the new babies, appealing that the twin should not be starved to death due to the absence of resources.

Also, the teenage mother expressed her interest in furthering her education, thus called on the Governor of the State, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, and his wife, Dr Olayemi Oyebanji to support her academic pursuit, emphasising her readiness to further her academics, the teenage mother revealed that she already had her National Examinations Council (NECO) certificate and has undergone the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) exams.
