The State Administrative Council and State Executive Council of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Ekiti State, have congratulated Ekiti Governor Biodun Oyebanji on clinching the party’s ticket to run for a second term in office.
In a statement in Ado Ekiti, the President of the Union, Comrade Oluseyi Olatunde, speaking on behalf of the leaders, said the Governor’s victory excited all council workers because it was their wish. He affirmed that the coast is now clear for the Governor, as the general election would be won seamlessly due to the Governor’s popularity and acceptability among the masses, stemming from his achievements.
Olatunde noted that council workers have never hidden their love and support for the Governor because he extended love, kindness, and overwhelming support to them by meeting their demands, including those that seemed insurmountable. The NULGE President urged the Governor not to relent in his good deeds but to continue doing more, especially for workers in the state, whom he described as the engine room of government.
