A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State, Senator Ayo Arise, has called on party leadership and all stakeholders in the State to join hands together towards securing a landslide victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Sen. Arise gave the charge in a statement issued from his hometown, Oye-Ekiti, on Wednesday, and made available to journalists in preparation for the Presidential Campaign Council’s visit to Ekiti State slated for November 5, 2026.
The former lawmaker directed all his supporters across Ekiti North Senatorial District and the state in general to begin unprecedented and aggressive mobilisation for the party in order to coast home to victory for President Tinubu, whom he described as the only leader needed to transform the country.
According to him, the need for unity and aggressive grassroots mobilisation cannot be overemphasized at this critical time, noting that Ekiti must speak with one voice in support of the President’s continuity.
He enumerated some of the achievements of the President, including bold economic reforms, infrastructure renewal, efforts at restoring security, student loan scheme, and renewed hope for Nigerian youths among others.
The Politician stressed the need for all progressive-minded Nigerians to rally around the President to succeed in his efforts to develop the country.
“President Tinubu has shown courage and vision in taking difficult but necessary decisions to reposition Nigeria. What he needs now is our total support, especially from his stronghold in the South-West. Ekiti must not be left behind,” Arise said.
He assured the Presidential Campaign Council of a rousing welcome and massive turnout of party faithful across the 16 Local Government Areas of the state, adding that Ekiti is fully ready to deliver overwhelming votes for the APC in 2027.
