…Hon Oyetunde Ojo installed as patron of Ekiti Chiefs
Members of the Association of Traditional Chieftaincy Title Holders in Ekiti State have endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term in office, promising to mobilise massive votes for him in the 2027 presidential election.
The traditional chiefs made the commitment in Ado-Ekiti during a mobilisation programme organised by the Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Housing Authority, Hon. Oyetunde Ojo, to galvanise support for President Tinubu’s re-election.
Speaking on behalf of the traditional chieftaincy title holders, the Chairman of the Association and Asolo of Ikole-Ekiti, High Chief Oluwole Ogunsakin, said President Tinubu had performed beyond expectations in his first term, making his re-election necessary.
High Chief Ogunsakin noted that traditional chiefs maintained close relationships with people at the grassroots, assuring that members of the association would embark on house-to-house campaigns to canvass support for the President.
In their goodwill messages, former Ekiti State Governor, Chief Segun Oni, former Deputy Governor, Professor Modupe Adelabu, former House of Representatives member, Hon. Bimbo Daramola and former Secretary to the Ondo State Government, Chief Ifedayo Abegunde called on Nigerians to support President Tinubu’s re-election, citing what they described as his numerous achievements.
In his remarks, the convener of the programme, Hon. Oyetunde Ojo, appealed to residents of Ekiti State to turn out in large numbers to vote for President Tinubu in the 2027 election.
Hon. Ojo also pledged to support the traditional chiefs in completing the ongoing Ule Ijoye project along the Ado-Ekiti–Ikere road before the end of the year.
The highlight of the programme was the installation of Hon. Oyetunde Ojo as the patron of the Association of Traditional Chieftaincy Title Holders in Ekiti State.
