A frontline governorship aspirant under the platform of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Hon. Blessing Abegunde, has assured the people of Ekiti State of a better, transparent, and people centered government if elected as governor in the forthcoming 2026 election.
Abegunde, who made this known while addressing supporters and party faithful, emphasized that Ekiti deserves a fresh leadership built on integrity, accountability, and genuine service to humanity.
He noted that his ambition is driven by the passion to restore hope to the common people and to make Ekiti a model of good governance in Nigeria.
“Our people have suffered neglect for too long. It’s time to bring governance closer to the grassroots, empower our youths, support our farmers, and create opportunities that will make Ekiti thrive again,” he said.
Abegunde further urged NNPP members and all well meaning Ekiti citizens to join hands in building a new and prosperous Ekiti State anchored on unity, progress, and innovation.
