…host Children of Journalists in grand style

It was a moment of fun, grandeur and style as the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Ekiti State Council played host of the Christmas party for children of Journalists in the State.
The event took place on Wednesday at Ayeni Hall of the Nigerian Union of Pensioners Hall, with children and journalists in attendance.
In an opening remark, the Chairman of NUJ Ekiti State Council, Comrade Kayode Babatuyi disclosed that the event is aimed at uniting Children of Journalists in the State.
Cmrd. Babatuyi added that the event serves as avenue for the parents to meet, identify and interact with other parents as well as create a sense of belonging among parents.
He further hoped for better celebration in subsequent years while calling for more collaboration.
Highlights of the event were dance, pageantry and spelling competition. The children also received gift items; backpack, water bottle and snacks.
