Children’s Christmas Party: Ekiti Governor’s wife Advocates Love, Kindness Among Nigerians

Wife of Ekiti State Governor, Dr Olayemi Oyebanji has admonished Nigerians to show love and kindness to the less privileged most especially during this yuletide season.

The first lady gave the admonition at this year’s Children’s Christmas Party held admist fun fair in Ado Ekiti.

She explained that such remained an essential means of putting smiles on faces of the people most especially those who couldn’t afford to provide efficiently for themselves.

“Christmas is a time of love, joy, and giving, but it is also a time to remember the true meaning of this special event -the birth of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. His birth brought hope and peace to the world, and it is through His love that we are able to come together in happiness” The first lady said

Dr Oyebanji equally enjoined the children who were at the party to be obedient, diligent, hardworking and well behaved so as to achieve success and attain greatness in life.

“As a mother, I know how important it is to feel cared for and cherished. Christmas teaches us to share that love with others, to be kind, and to help those who need it most. Just as Jesus showed us the way, let’s also spread kindness, joy, and love in our homes and schools” Dr Oyebanji emphasised.

Delivering Nigeria’s President Wife Senator Oluremi Tinubu’s message, the Ekiti State First Lady noted that Jesus Christ was born to the earth to safe mankind and such should be replicated by doing away with all sinful acts.
