WHAT MY MOTHER TOLD ME BEFORE SHE DIED… EKITI TUC CHAIRMAN

..as NUJ Chairman Kayode Babatuyi pays condolence visit to the family

The Chairman, Trade Union Congress, TUC, Ekiti State, Comrade Sola Adigun who doubles as the Chairman, Academic Staff Union of Secondary Schools, ASUSS, has affirmed that his mother told him on several occasions that she was never afraid of death because she was fulfilled based on the kindness of God.

Adigun who jokingly narrated his story to some leaders of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ who paid him a visit at the family house noted that his mother had always wished that she died peacefully without putting the family into any problem.

According to Adigun:” When my mum clocked 78, she was practically telling everyone about it because she was overwhelmed by the glory of God in her life.

“My mum loves everyone around her, she was a disciplinarian who trained us in the way of the Lord. I was surprised at the kind words from people from all works of life about my mother.

“For my mum, death was never a problem, because she believed God has been kind to her and she has actually achieved her desires.

“I am just pretending, her death hit me so badly but the family was consoled by the fact that she lived well which she had also attested to while alive.
” Sometimes, I had to hid in the corner and pay my tribute in tears but I am quick to compose my self each time I remember her perspective about life.

In his remark, NUJ Chairman, Comrade Kayode Babatuyi sympathized with the TUC Chairman and prayed God to grant him the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
