We ‘ll improve sea border security in Nigeria – UK

The United Kingdom (UK) Government has said, it is committed to improving maritime security in the Gulf of Guinea, if they work together with Nigeria.

Nigeria is bordered by the Gulf of Guinea in the South.

This was made known by the office of the British High Commission in Nigeria.

As obtained in a statement from its X handle @UKinNigeria, the Commission said, “We are committed to improving maritime security in the Gulf of Guinea and can achieve more when we work together.”

According to the statement, the British Royal Navy has embarked on joint training with the Nigerian Navy, adding that “Joint exercises help gather insights to inform our countries maritime efforts.”
