…as lawmaker-elect canvasses votes for APC house of assembly candidates
It was a carnival like in Ilejemeje, Ido Osi and Moba local governments as massive crowd rolled out drums to receive the winner of the House of Representatives election in the Ekiti North Federal Constituency (II), Akinlayo Davidson Kolawole
Kolawole had visited the councils to canvass votes for the All Progressives Congress, APC candidates under his Constituency.
The crowd who could not hide their love for the lawmaker-elect were seen chanting his name and singing his praises
Addressing the gathering, Akinlayo Kolawole appealed to them to extend the love they have for him to all APC candidates for the House of Assembly by voting massively for them on Saturday.
Kolawole said: I have come here to show solidarity to my people, this is where I belong and This is where I want you my people to queue on Saturday.
“I want to assure you that very soon you will enjoy the dividends of democracy because we are all going to work together to facilitate great projects to this constituncy and make life better for you people.
In a separate interviews, some of the loyalists described Kolawole as a very humble, diligent, selfless and kind leader who is committed to the development of the constituncy.
They promised to vote for all the APC house of assembly candidates during the election.
