The United State (US) President Joe Biden has said the US recognises the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination, but Hamas is not toiling similar line.
Bide noted this on the US President’s official X account @POTUS.
He said, “The United States remains committed to the Palestinian people’s right to dignity and to self-determination. The actions of Hamas terrorists don’t take that right away.”
Similarly, the US Secretary for Civilian Democracy and Human Rights, Uzra Zeya, via her X account @UnderSecStateJ, recognised the rights of Palestine civilians.
In her words, “Our message to Palestinians in Gaza, the West Bank, and all around the world is clear: we see you, we grieve with you, and we mourn every loss of innocent life. Civilians are not to blame and should not suffer for Hamas’s horrific terrorism.”
