The Director, Media and Publicity, Presidential Campaign Council of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bayo Onanuga has called on the United State, US, President Joe Biden, to trash the open letter by Chimamanda on Nigeria’s election.
Recently, Chimamanda in an open letter urged Biden not to congratulate the Nigeria President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and described the election as disastrous.
Onanuga in a counter statement via his verified Twitter handle, @aonanuga1956 says Chimamanda wrote fiction motivated by the loss of Peter Obi.
The statement reads: “Dear President Joe Biden, please just trash the open letter by Chimamanda on Nigeria’s election once it gets to your desk. She wrote fiction, inspired by the monumental loss of her tribesman Peter Obi.”
