Trader in Tears as Fire Razes Shop in Ekiti

Destroys goods worth millions of Naira

Goods and property worth millions of Naira have been lost to fire at a shop in Oye -Ekiti.

Speaking with Newsmen, the owner of the shop, Mrs Dupe Ayilola said the source of the fire which burnt everything into ashes remained unknown.

She listed items and property lost to the incident to include, cash of about two hundred thousand naira, on deep freezer, one big stabilizer, over 30 bags of rice and beans, 25 bags of sait, eight kegs of Ground nut and palm oil, 22 bags of flour, many creates of eggs among other goods.

Mrs Ayilola therefore appealed to spirited Nigerians, government and wealthy individuals to urgently come to her aid because she borrowed the money used to set up the shop..

According to her, the means of livelihood of her family have been lost to the fire.
