…rejoices with Muslims on commencement of Holy month
The Nigeria Labour Congress NLC Ekiti State has felicitated with Muslims workers across the Stste on the commencement of Ramadan which is known as holy month.
In a statements in Ado Ekiti, the NLC Chairman, Comrade Kolapo Olatunde appreciated God on behalf of the Muslim faithfuls for witnessing another Ramadan in good and sound health.
The Ekiti NLC Chairman urged them to use the period of the fasting to pray to Allah to end every challenges facing the nation such as economy quagmire , insecurity, killing, maiming, banditry, among others.
Comrade kolapo also appealed to the Muslim faithfuls to always remember Nigerian leaders including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor of Ekiti State, His Excellency Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji and others at the helms of affairs for Allah to give them the required wisdom, knowledge and understanding to end the present hardship facing Nigerians.
He therefore promised that NLC would ensure that workers get the best from Government as negotiation for minimum wage continues.
