The Contractors handling the Ikole-Isaba-Ikoyi-Igbemo road were on site clearing the bushes leading to the road with their heavy equipments.

The Technical Manager of Delko Holdings Nigeria Ltd, Michael Ajayi promised to deliver the Ikole-Isaba-Ikoyi-Igbemo road project within seven months.

His words: “We are ready to do the work. They gave us 18 months but with what we have, we promise by seven months we will hand over the project.”

“The impact it will have on me is that I will be successful here and my generation too will be. I want to commend the State government. God will give them the power to get to the promise land.”

Other areas visited during the inspection tour include; FMS-Oke Ako 3.4km road in Ikole local government and Are-Oye 8.765km road in Oye local government.
