Police Neutralises Kidnapping Attempt Arrests Two

Two suspected kidnappers were shot dead on Monday while attempting to abduct individuals in the Fangha community, Daffo district, Bokkos local government area of Plateau State.

Confirming the report the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Alfred Alabo, said, “On 03/06/2024 at about 5:30 am, we received a distress call from a patriotic citizen who reported that some hoodlums suspected to be kidnappers were operating in Fangha area of Daffo District, Bokkos LGA.”

“A team of Policemen and other security help groups went to the scene of the incident where they engaged the hoodlums in a gun duel and two of the hoodlums were neutralized in the process, while others escaped with gunshot wounds.”

He added, “Exhibits recovered from the hoodlums include one locally fabricated revolver gun loaded with four 7.62MM ammunition, two phones, one dagger, and one knife. Efforts are intensified to arrest the fleeing suspects.”
