POLICE ARREST EKITI OBA ELECT, PRINCE ADEBOMI OVER CERTIFICATE FORGERY

Operatives of Nigeria Police, Zone 17 Akure has confirmed the arrest of an Ekiti Oba-elect, Prince Babalola Adebomi, over alledged certificate forgery.

The suspect who was until his arrest was the Oba-elect of Ararį»mi-Ekiti, Ijero local government area was said to have claimed to be a graduate of University of Ibadan

According to the Public Relations Officer of the zone, Mr Adeoye Hakeem a Deputy Superintendent of Police, said the suspect was petitioned through a legal practitioner by the indegenes of his community, alledging him of forging certificate and using same to work at the Ekiti State Teaching Hospital (EKSUTH).

According to them, someone with such character is not worthy to be crowned as traditional ruler of Araromi Ekiti

He explained that the suspect is currently undergoing interrogations at Zone headquarters in Akure.
