…meets leadership of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Ekiti State chapter

The Director-General, Bureau of Community Communications, Mrs. Mary Oso Omotosho has affirmed that Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji will continue to engage all necessary stakeholders as part of his resolve to promote good governance and cohesion.

Mrs Oso-Omotosho made this known when hen office engaged the leadership of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Ekiti State chapter comprising the State executives and all Local Government chairmen .

According to her, Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s profound respect for religious institutions and his commitment to placing God at the forefront of his administration has not only continued to garner strong admiration from religious leaders but also total support from diverse religious bodies in the State .

The meeting according to Mrs. Mary Oso-Omotosho, Director-General of the Office of Community Communications, aimed to reaffirm the Governor’s pledge to maintain open line of communication with religious communities, recognizing them as essential partners in his administration’s endeavours.

She stressed Governor Oyebanji’s belief in continuous stakeholder engagement, harping its pivotal role in fostering sustainable governance beyond electoral cycles.

Speaking , Ekiti State CAN Chairman, Rev. Emmanuel Aribasoye, commended Governor Oyebanji’s Godly leadership style as unprecedented in the state’s history, attributing its success to the Governor’s inclusive approach.

Rev. Aribasoye who highlighted the tangible support extended to CAN by Governor Oyebanji and his wife , Dr Olayemi Oyebanji,said it would be the first of its kind in the history of any government in the state for CAN to be engaged and gifted for fasting as their Muslim brothers and sisters . He said CAN as a body hasn’t stopped praying for the Government and will continue to pray for the success of the administration.

The engagement concluded with a collective prayer for Governor Oyebanji and his administration, reflecting the harmonious relationship between religious institutions and the state government in pursuing the common good for all.

Also present at the meeting was a member of the Community Communications team , SSA Faith – Based Organization ,Deacon Ogunsesin Ojo .
