OBASHIP TUSSLE: AGGRIEVED PARTIES DRAG GOVERNMENT, KINGMAKERS TO COURT

Three out of the four Princes contesting the Traditional stool of Alararomi of Araromi in Ijero local area of Ekiti state have dragged Ekiti State Government and some kingmakers to the federal high court sitting in Ado-Ekiti.

The aggrieved contestants are Prince Babalola Sunday Adeniji,Prince Afolayan Demola and Prince Adediran Lawrence Fatoye.

The Princes, in a suit filed by their solicitor, Bode Kowe is seeking the Court to stop the Government and the kingmakers from proceeding with the process of installing Prince Babalola Babatunde Adebomi as the monarch of the Araromi Ekiti.

Recalled that the Ekiti State Government, through the deputy Governor, Chief Monisade Afuye had last week ordered the kingmakers to proceed with the installation of Prince Babalola Babatunde Adebomi.

The aggrieved princes alleged that selection process that produced Babalola Adebomi was manipulated hence, the need for a fresh divination that will produce qualified candidate.

The Princes vowed to resist the irregularities in the selection of the monarch.
