NUJ Press Week: WCDHRI, Rich Marg lead Health Outreach

NUJ Press Week health outreach in Ekiti State, Richmarg Educational Consult collaborated with the Women and Children Development Health Research Initiative (WCDHRI) and several other organizations to deliver essential health services to the community. According to the project manager from Rich Marg, the organization, known for its professional health administration, focuses on providing public sensitization, basic health knowledge, and instructional materials to help improve health awareness at the grassroots level.

The manager emphasized the importance of a coordinated event that ensures people have access to the health services available to them. The event featured partnerships with organizations like Public Health Nexus, Planned Parenthood Federation of Nigeria, Nigeria Medical Association Ekiti State, and the Maternal Child Specialist Clinics Ado Ekiti, all working under WCDHRI.

As part of the outreach, Debby’s Place, also under WCDHRI, contributed by providing clothing for men, women, and children. This collaboration between health organizations and NGOs helped enhance the community’s access to health services, while also addressing other welfare needs.
