…reminds Governor Oyebanji on payment of Hazard allowance for Agric workers
The Nigeria Union of Agriculture and Allied Employees NUAAE, Ekiti State has congratulated the newly sworn in Commissioner for Agriculture, Mr. Ebenezer Boluwade, Commissioner for women Affairs, Mrs Peju Babafemi and Special Adviser to the governor on Gender Empowerment and Mobilization, Chief Kemi Olaleye on their well deserved appointments.
In a statement in Ado Ekiti, the Ekiti State Chairman of NUAAE, Comrade Ayodeji Ojo known as “Munawa” described their appointment as round pegs in round holes, saying they will perform excellently.
Comrade Ojo expressed the believe that the appointees would not disappoint residents of Ekiti state and Governor Biodun Oyebanji due to their previous outstanding performances and experiences both as civil servant and politicians.
The NUAAE Chairman appealed to them to use their expertise to contribute to socio- economic development of Ekiti state especially in the area of Agriculture, empowerment of women and youth.
Comrade Ojo commended Governor Biodun Oyebanji for appointed experience and expert individuals as commissioners and Special adviser, saying such attested to his taste for quality leadership and good governance.
He appealed to Governor Oyebanji to implement payment of hazzard allowance for Agric workers in view of the peculiarity of their work
Comrade Ojo therefore promised that members of the Agric union would not relent in their support for present administration to achieve success, especially in Agriculture sector and advocated for more government presence to the sector
