By Udesinanna Stephen

Amidst the crisis that rocks the New Nigeria Peoples  Party, NNPP following the suspension of its Founder, Boniface Aniebonam, former Presidential Aide Bashir Ahmad has mocked the Party, saying that “Kwankwaso is back as the tensions continue to rise.”

Bashir said this recently on his X handle @BashirAhmaad.

Roundoffnews recall that the crisis in NNPP skyrocketed when the Party’s Founder and Chairman of the Board of Trustees (BoT), Dr. Boniface Aniebonam suspended Rabiu Kwankwaso, the Party’s 2023 Presidential candidate, Kwankwaso faction in response suspended Dr Boniface.

Bashir reacted, “Another twist in the NNPP saga as a faction of the party, loyal to Sen. Kwankwaso, expelled members who organised the earlier Board of Trustees meeting in Lagos. Kwankwaso is back as the tensions continue to rise within the opposition party.”
