Following the official commissioning of Dangote Petroleum Refinery, the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC is set to supply 300,000 barrels of Crude oil per day to the refinery as it sets to resume operation next week.

This was made known by the Chief Executive Officer, NNPCL, Mele Kyari during the forth Nigerian Oil and Gas Opportunity Fair in Yenahoa, Bayelsa State.

He said, “We would be supplying 300,000 barrels of crude oil per day to Dangote which has 20 percent stake in the refinery. We are ready to meet its crude oil obligation supply.”

Moreso, Mele revealed the commission’s intention to promote industrialisation by its addressing the energy challenge in the country.

He said, “We want to address the energy challenges so that industralisation can come to the country. 48 percent of all revenue that comes to the government comes from the oil and gas sector and we are in a very good position to support the growth of the economy.”
