…pinpoints Obiafu-Obrikom-Oben, Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano Gas Pipeline

The Nigeria National Petroleum Company, NNPC Limited, has said it is
facilitating gas development for Nigeria’s energy transition.

This was made known by the NNPC Executive Vice President on Gas, Power and New Energies, Mohammed A. Ahmed, as obtained from the official Twitter handle of the Company @nnpclimited.

According to him, gas is not only vital for Nigeria’s energy transition but also key to fostering industrial advancement and employment.

He pinpointed the NNPC’s ongoing infrastructure projects, including the Obiafu-Obrikom-Oben (OB3) and Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano (AKK) Gas Pipeline Projects.

He also said the Company is tackling energy poverty and improving nationwide gas access.

On Pipeline security, Ahmed appraised the ongoing efforts to counter vandalism, enhance project security and investor trust.
