Nigerian Richest person in Sudan says Dabiri-Erewa

By Udesinanna Stephen

The Chairperson of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, has revealed that the richest person in Sudan is a Nigerian.

Dabiri-Erewa, who is a former member of the Nigeria Federal House of Representatives, revealed this via her verified Twitter handle, @abikedabiri, while reacting to a Twitter user, @shegelee005, who was shocked that Nigerians reside in Sudan when he said, “Nigerian students in Sudan how on earth is this possible?”

Dabiri-Erewa, in her response, said, “We have well over 3 million residents there. Even more, but let me just put it at that estimate. The richest person in Sudan is a Nigerian.”

Meanwhile, Sudan has been in conflict for over a week as many countries, including Nigeria, are evacuating their diplomats and citizens.
