NAWOJ Hails Ekiti Governor for Appointing Female Head of Service

The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) has congratulated the new Head of Service, Dr. Mrs. Olufolake Olomojobi, on her appointment by Governor Abiodun Oyebanji.

The NAWOJ Chairperson,Mrs Adewumi Ademiju commended Governor Oyebanji for the appointment, “which serves as an additional positive tone for gender balance in the state’s civil service,” added that Dr. Olomojobi’s expertise and leadership acumen would undoubtedly enhance the service’s performance.

The NAWOJ Chairperson stated this in a statement signed by her secretary Mrs Funmi Falae.

NAWOJ expressed gratitude to the governor of Ekiti State, his Excellence Governor Biodun Oyebanji for his gender-friendly stance, saying the appointment is a testament to his administration’s commitment to gender equality and women empowerment.

NAWOJ urged Dr. Olomojobi to use her position to mentor young women and girls, inspiring them to strive for excellence in their careers.

The association emphasized Governor Oyebanji’s continued support for women’s advancement in Ekiti State, saying, “This appointment is a step in the right direction, and we look forward to more inclusive decisions from your administration.”
