MOBA LG CHAIRMAN SET TO UNVEIL NEW SECURITY OUTFIT, SPORTS HUB

…Endorses Governor Oyebanji for Second Term

The Chairman, Moba Local Government of Ekiti, Bamidele Fadugba, has revealed that the Council is set to establish a new security outfit, to be named “MASE” as part of efforts to ensure the security of lives and property of people of the council.

The Chairman also disclosed the plan of his administration to establish a sports hub which will serve as an opportunity for youths to develop their talents.

Addressing a press conference held at the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Secretariat, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Mr. Fadugba acknowledged the leadership qualities of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji and endorsed him for second term in office.

According to him, the security outfit, comprising local hunters in the community, will have special uniforms to distinguish them from other security outfits, adding that the new outfit will collaborate with conventional security agencies to rid Ekiti of criminals.

Speaking of his achievements in Moba LGA, he said:”Our efforts in Moba Local Government are in various spheres, such as paying NECO fees for some of our students, providing scholarships, opening new roads leading to farms, youth empowerment and prioritizing staff welfare.”

He also stated that Governor Biodun Oyebanji is not expected to have an opposition in the upcoming election, saying that his administration has benefited the state.

He said, “Considering the Governor’s works, I don’t think there will be anybody to contest against him; we love our Governor and want to continue enjoying his leadership.”

The Chairman, NUJ Ekiti State Council, Kayode Babatuyi, commended the Chairman for his contributions to Moba LGA, adding that the media, will continue to support him.
