The Chairman, Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Ekiti State Council, Comrade Kayode Babatuyi has showered encomium on the proprietor of Midas Radio, Ado Ekiti for establishing the station in Ekiti State.
According to Babatuyi, the media house has contributed immensely to the Broadcast industry through its dynamic programmes and unique style of broadcasting.
The NUJ Chairman spoke during a visit to the station where he met the Chairman, Midas, Mr Olukayode Olusemire.
He noted that Midas has not only created employment for journalists and broadcasters but has provoked healthy competition.
Babatuyi urged the new Media to sustain the good work and advised journalists in the station to join the Union.
In his response the Chairman appreciated the Union for the visit adding that the station has come to reshape the media industry.
He promised to continue to support NUJ towards realising its dreams.
