MAPOLY Students protest over fee hike, results delay

Students of Mohood Abiola Polytechnic, MAPOLY, Abeokuta, Ogun State has reportedly staged a protest to the school premises, owing to an alleged hike in the tuition fees and delay in the release of students results.

At the time of this report, the protest is currently around the school premises, with some students trooping out to the Campus Gate since 7:00am, holding placards with inscriptions such as ‘No To Increment of Tuition Fee’, ‘Rector Must Go’, and ‘Release Our Result ASAP’, among others.

Moreover, reports gathered from the scene include issues relating to delays in results, shortage of staff, and an increment in the acceptance fee for freshmen.

Until the time of this report, the school authority is yet to release a statement as efforts made to reach the Pubilc Relations Officer of the Institution has proven futile.
