Lagosians Endorse Sanwo Olu After Benefiting from Free Eye glasses

Hundreds of Lagosians have benefited from the free eye test and glasses championed by the Lagos State Government in partnership with some private Organizations.

The citizens were also showered with food items, cash gifts, airtime&data and other basic necessities to improve their standard of living.

Benefited Communities are Ikeja, Ikoyi, Lekki and their environs.

Roundoffnews gathered that the exercise was carried out without any preference for religion, ethnic or political differences.

The exercise was spearheaded by Lagos State Heads of Agencies and Parastatals.

In a separate interviews, the organizers confirmed to Roundoffnews that the free eye test and glasses is part of commitment of the Lagos State government to improve the health of the people, give them sense of belonging and build their confidence in the Sanwo Olu’s government.

The exercise which also got support of PRADO group, Bera Estate Chevron Ikoyi already took place in two strategic locations in the town, Ikeja&environs and Ikoyi&Environs with an estimated 10,000 indigents benefitting.

Over 8000 patients have collected free reading glasses and over 8000 patients have registered for the free ilera eko health insurance in the three different communities so far.

The Doctors were able to see some special cases beyond the scope of the program and were referred to the different general and specialist hospitals in Lagos.

The heads of Agencies and Parastatals brought over 300 personnel including 10 Ophatamologist, 10 Oprometrist, 5 Opticians medical doctors, nurses, pharmacists and other support staff.

In their remarks the beneficiaries appreciated Lagos State government and promised to vote for Sanwo Olu in his bid to secure a second term.
