Lagos Train Accident: 25 Patients referred to 5 General Hospitals, 102 Casualties Recorded

The Honourable Commissioner for Health, Lagos State, Prof. Akin Abayomi has confirmed that 25 patients with moderate injuries have been referred to 5 General Hospitals in Lagos.

The Commissioner, who made this known today via is official twitter handle, @ProfAkinAbayomi noted that, out of the 6 recorded death, 2 died at the scene and 4 died at Lagos State University Teaching Hospital.

According to him, “25 patients with moderate injuries were later referred to 5 General Hospitals in Lagos for further treatment and to decongest Lagos State University Teaching Hospital.”
