United State (US) President Joe Biden has engaged Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, on coordinated support to protect its citizens from Hamas attacks.

Biden said this yesterday on his X account @POTUS.

He said, “We connected with Prime Minister Netanyahu to discuss coordination to support Israel, deter hostile actors, and protect innocent people.

“Vice President of the US Kamala Harris and I sat down with our teams to receive a situation update on the terrorist attack in Israel and to direct next steps.” He noted.

Also, US Secretary of State noted on his X account “Tomorrow, I will leave for Israel to engage with our Israeli partners directly about the situation on the ground and to discuss ways we can continue to support them in the fight against these terrorist attacks. Our support for Israel remains unwavering.”

ROUNDOFFNEWS recently reported that Hamas, a Palestinian militant group which rules the Gaza Strip recently launched an attack out of Gaza on Israeli forces who were still trying to crush the last groups of militant fighters in several towns of southern Israel. Hamas killed over 700 and abducted dozens of Israeli citizens. In this regard, the Israeli government has launched air attacks on suspected Hamas bases in Gaza.

“In response, Israeli air strikes hit housing blocks, tunnels, a mosque and homes of Hamas officials in Gaza, killing more than 400 people, including 20 children, in keeping with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s vow of “mighty vengeance”. REUTERS reports.
