…urges Govt to fish out perpetrators of gruesome act

…advocates digital security, training of local Vigilante

The founder of Prince Adeyinka Alli Foundation (PAAF), Prince Adeyinka Alli has commiserated with the families of the Onimojo of Imojo Ekiti, Oba Samuel Olatunji, and the Elesun of Esun Ekiti, Oba Babatunde Ogunsakin, who were gruesomely killed by unknown gunmen in Ekiti.

Prince Alli noted that the gruesome act was a signal of zero concern by the perpetrators of the gruesome actions towards the tranquility of the state.

The incident is reported to have happened between Oke-Ako and Ipao-Ekiti, where they were attacked while returning from a meeting.

Similarly, the philanthropist also condemned the recent kidnapping of six pupils, teachers and a bus driver of a private school, describing it as serious threat to the safety of citizens.

While urging the state and federal government to take drastic action in fishing out killers and bring them to justice , he called on security agents in the state to intensify efforts in making sure the innocent kids are released from Kidnappers’ den.

His words, “It saddens my heart when I heard about the death of our traditional rulers.

“It is indeed with a heart full of sadness I’m writing this to commiserate with the families of the deceased.

“I will urge government at all level to take drastic steps in making sure these killers are brought to book and our security agents should also be on their toes to ensure that our kids are rescued from those gruesome sets of individuals.”

While recommending mechanisms to curb insecurity, the PAAF Founder called on the state government to prioritise proper training of local Vigilante, noting that they are the custodians of the grassroots who know the nooks and crannies of the localities.

He also urged the federal government to fashion in digital security and improve intelligence gathering.

These according to him, will not only lessen the threat that insecurity pose to the safety of Nigerians, but will make the country a “Neverland” to foreigners.
