IDOMA COMMUNITY IN EKITI CELEBRATE END OF YEAR IN GRAND STYLE

It was a moment of joy and appreciation on Sunday as Idoma people living in Ekiti State converged on the House of Ochidoma Agabaidu one of Ekiti State, Otache Oyigocho to celebrate end of the year party and rejoice over good health.

At the programme held in Ado Ekiti, Idoma people living in Ekiti in their uniform danced, sang and break colanut in line with tradition to pray to God and appreciate Him for sparing their lives up to date.

Speaking during the celebration, Director General, Ekiti State Community Communication, Mrs Mary Oso-Omotoso Commended the efforts of Idoma people living in Ekiti over their efforts and contributing to food production, saying all ethnic groups in the State would be carried along through their leaders for them to benefit from numerous welfare packages of present administration.

Mrs Oso-Omotoso sought the support of every tribes in the state for Governor Oyebanji in order to enable him to extend more infrastructure and other social amenities to all the towns and villages across the sixteen local governments of the state..

In their submissions, the Chairman on the occasion, Mr, Tony Egbe who is a banker and the Chairlady, Iyaloja of Ilawe Ekiti, Chief Yemisi Eleyinafe urged idoma people living in Ekiti state to continue to obey the law of the land and face their duties legitimately.

In a remark, the Ochidoma of Idoma People living in Ekiti State, Otache Oyigocho described Governor Oyebanji as trade mark to other Governors due to his welfare package and his ability to extend dividend of good governance to all residents irrespective of their religion and political affiliation.

He commended president Bola Tinubu for given appointment to idoma people and advocated for more of it, saying they have qualified and expert among them.
