The GIGMOF School of Mentoring, a subsidiary of Divine Motivation for Positive Impact Initiative Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State has graduated 53 students from the 2024 Batch G after a 3-month intensive training.

At its graduation ceremony held in Ado-Ekiti over the weekend, the Founder and President, Dr. Gbenga Emiloju charged the graduands to deliver on the mandate of adding value and making positive impacts in the lives of people.

Dr. Emiloju, said the idea behind the school was borne out of his passion to mentor young ones which is a strategy to reshape the society noting that since its formation in 2020, over 400 graduands have emerged.

Dr Emiloju disclosed that the 53 graduates were drawn from 18 States of the federation adding that over N2million grant were given to 12 graduates for their entrepreneurial development.

He called on government and stakeholders to partner the school and support it towards creating opportunities for more youths.

He said: “GIGMOF School of Mentoring is a school establish with divine purpose and agenda to raise younger generations for divine fulfilment and since 2020 we started the school, we have been able to have graduands of over 450.

“The information I receive from some of them gladdens my heart because I can see the manifestation of what we taught them in the school happens in their lives which is a good thing especially those of them we gave grants.

“We have over 50 of them now and today will make it 62 to support their business ideas with over 7million since we started this school. Some of them are also doing well which is why I cannot but give glory to God for what God is doing through this school. The best is yet to come because we still have bigger agenda for the participants of the school as we go on.

“My expectations from them is to whom much is given, much is expected. I expect them to do more than what they have been doing before. Wherever they find themselves, the society should feel their impacts and that truly they have passed through the GIGMOF School of Mentoring and the results will be visible in their lives.

“The 12 people received N2,050,000M to support their ideas and it’s just a little out of the much God has placed on my might to do. The time is coming that we will give an individual N5M in this school. I can imagine in the next five to ten years where we will be. More will be given because the first ten years of the school, my plan with the help of God is to give a minimum of 100 youths a grant of more than N50M.

“What I have been giving to the school is my personal resources. It’s a burden on my heart. How do you determine a man’s priority while he spends his resources, what he spends his time doing and what he is passionate about. These three things are what is driving me towards this goal. I still look forward to when we have more people who will soon so that we will be able to reach out to more people through this grants.”

The event also witnessed the unveiling and launching of the book written by Francis Ekundayo entitled: “The Marital Foundation”

According to the author, “This book was conceived not only as a singular thought, but it represent the thoughts of mentors, experts and couples, who have influenced me in the course of my journey in life.

“Marriage is one of the most beautiful and challenging journey and anybody who is going into marriage without strong foundation based on the word of God, such an individual cannot guarantee marital success.”

Some of the graduands expressed appreciation with the school for empowering them with the requisite knowledge to succeed in life.

The Class Governor and recipient of an Award of Excellent Leadership, Ajayi Oluwagbemiga said: “We have discovered the power of mentorship. We have witnessed first hand, the transformative effects and guidance and support.

“As we move forward, let us carry the lessons and become mentors to others. Let us use the knowledge and the skills we have acquired to make a difference in our communities and the world at large.”

Other highlights of the event were the Award of Visionary Leadership to the Founder by the graduands, recognition of outstanding graduands, teachers and distribution of cheques to the recipients of the grants.
