Gbamila Tradomedical Centre rejoices over successful installation of new Akogun of Ado Ekiti

The Chairman Gbamila Tradomedical Centre, Alhaji Gbamila Adeoye has appreciated those that contributed to the successful installation of Chief Sunday Akinyemi-Akintola from the family of Ojoribata, Irona Ado Ekiti as the new Akogun of Ado Ekiti.

In a statement in Ado Ekiti, the Chairman Gbamila Tradomedical Centre, Alahji Adeoye appreciated Ewi of Ado Ekiti, Oba Adeyemo Adejugbe, members of Ewi in Council, Aare Afe Babalola, Olori Ebi Ojoribata, Chief Michael Akinyemi-Akintola, Retired Major Sunday Adewumi, daughters and sons of Akogun family both home and abroad for their support to make the chieftaincy tittle a reality.

The Chief Executive Officer of Gbamila Tradomedical Centre noted that the efforts put in place by the people to ensure Chief Sunday Akinyemi-Adebayo become the next was immeasurable.

Alahaji Gbamila therefore expressed confidence that the new Akogun would use his position to promote tradition, peaceful coexistence, and unity in Ado Ekiti.

Chief Akinyemi Adebayo was installed as the Akogun of Ado Ekiti by Ewi, Oba Adeyemo Adejugbe last month with all necessary traditional rites performed.
