The Federal Government has introduced an application known as the Power Outage Reporting System. which will enable citizens to report electricity disruptions directly to distribution companies overseen by the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission ( NERC).
The Unveiling of the application was done at the NERC headquarters in Abuja.
According to the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission NERC chairman, Sanusi Garba, the application would enable the commission to effectively tackle power distributors that fail to address electricity disruptions reported by consumers.
He therefore advised Nigerians to get the application from the Google Play store and Apple Store.
