Falegan felicitates Ewi, Ado People on Celebration of Udiroko

The Founder of Opeyemi David Falegan Foundation, Hon. Opeyemi David Falegan has congratulated the Ewi of Ado Ekiti, Oba Dr Rufus Adeyemo Adejugbe Aladesanmi III, Ewi-in-Council and entire Ekiti indigenes on the occasion of the celebration of year 2024 Udiroko festival.

He prayed for blissful and abundant reign for the monarch.

Falegan also wished all Ekiti indigenes many celebrations of the festival.
The Ado Ekiti born British Royal Air Force is noted for his support for the less privileged ones in the society, the widows, the single mothers, farmers, students and motorists.

According him, “Udiroko is a unique traditional festival that depicts the richness and value of Yoruba culture.”
He particularly commended Oba Adejugbe and his council on the fatherly and traditional roles demonstrated at ensuring that the rich Yoruba Cultural heritage is promoted during the festival.

Falegan said, Udiroko is an annual traditional festival held in Ado Ekiti. It is usually a time sons and daughters of the ancient town home and abroad come together to pray for the development of their community while they also showcase their rich cultural heritage.

This year celebration of the Udiroko festival would be held on Saturday August 21, 2024.
