EKS-WAMA General Manager, Engr. Ayoola Osalusi bags Integrity Stewardship Award

…promises to continue serve Ekiti residents wholeheartedly

It was a joyous occasion when the General Manager of Ekiti State Waste Management Authority, EKS-WAMA, Engr. Ayoola Osalusi bagged the ‘Certificate of Integrity and Stewardship’ award and induction as ‘Service Ambassador’ for his display of ethical leadership towards effective clean environment in the state.

The prestigious award was bestowed upon him by a Non-Governmental-Organisation, NGO, Centre for Peace and Self Values Re-orientation, in Ado-Ekiti, on Wednesday.

According to the Executive Director of the NGO, Comrade Oyibo Abubakar, the EKS-WAMA GM was deemed worthy of the award for his exemplary and purposeful leadership in ensuring that the state is rid of dirt and enhancement of basic social welfare.

His words: “Our confidential independent assessment exercise conducted on MDAs, South-West Nigeria, EKS-WAMA, under the stewardship of Engr. Ayoola Olalusi came out outstanding in the course of the exercise.

“We gathered with great delight in terms of your performance such as display of ethical leadership, developmental policy performance, public accessibility, servicom compliance, commitment to state government transformation agenda, attitude against corruption and obedient to the rule of law.

“The essence is to spur you to add more values to the society, do more for your people and add voice to the ongoing clarion call to reform Nigeria in the years ahead.”

Receiving the award, Engr. Osalusi appreciated the NGO for the award while pledging to put more effort in the discharge of his duties.

“We give thanks to God for this award and to appreciate the Centre for Peace and Self Values Re-orientation for this award. You said this is to spur us to do better and I’m using this opportunity to tell you that we will not rest and put more effort to work better so that we will see our performance.”

In the same vein, the NGO awarded EKS-WAMA with the ‘Certificate of Integrity Stewardship’ as one of the most ethically responsible organization.
