Ekiti Speaker Commiserates with Akeredolu on Mother’s Death

The Speaker of Ekiti State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Funminiyi Afuye has commiserated with the Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu, SAN on the death of his mother, Lady Evangelist Grace Bosede Akeredolu.

This was contained in a press statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Akogun Tai Oguntayo and made available to journalists.

“Mama lived a fulfilled life for witnessing the successes of her children before answering the divine call,” Afuye said.

He noted that “the abounding grace of God in Mama’s life is reflected in her purposeful longevity and the successes of her legacies especially the children she left behind. The Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Akeredolu is a pride to any mother.”

Afuye noted that Mrs Akeredolu’s prayers on the Governor and his siblings must have seen them through the turbulent struggles life.

The No 1 lawmaker in Ekiti State opined that “late Mrs Akeredolu was a mother anyone would pray to have.”

He sympathized with the family of Akeredolu in particular and Ondo State in general praying that “we will all survive our old ones.”
