Ekiti NUT Chairman predicts betters days for teachers under Tinubu’s administration

…celebrates Fayemi, Oyebanji for major roles played towards victory of new president

The chairman Nigeria Union of Teachers NUT, Ekiti State, Comrade Emmanuel Oke has expressed hope that the tenure of President Bola Tinubu will bring about positive development and rapid economic growth to the nation.

Comrade Oke also expressed optimism that teachers will be more favoured in the administration of the new President considering his antecedent as Governor of Lagos State.

In a congratulatory message made available to newsmen in Ado-Ekiti, Comrade okerejoiced with workers and Nigerians at large for witnessing a peaceful and successful transition of power with the hope that the country would witness a positive progress and development.

Comrade Oke who is also the vice chairman NLC, Ekiti State celebrated the former Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. John Kayode Fayemi whom he said worked very hard to ensure the victory of the new president of Nigeria.

He prayed God to continue to uphold the former governor and enlist him in more higher positions where he would be able to make more impacts in the lives of people.

The NUT chairman also celebrated the governor of Ekiti State, Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji for all his positive policies and programmes that had made life easy for workers.

Comrade Oke noted that the tenure of Governor Oyebanji had been very impactful through the kindness and love that teachers and workers received.

He expressed the readiness of teachers in Ekiti State to continue to use their skills and wealth of experience to deliver on the task ahead of them towards ensuring that government achieved its foresight for the development of the education sector.

The Nut chairman expressed concern over the hoarding of fuel by some petroleum marketers saying such attitude was unnecessary.

He noted that the pronouncement for the removal of fuel subsidy did not amount to implementation urging the marketers to wait for government to announce a new pump price before increasing the price of the commodity.
