EKITI NULGE HAILS SUPREME COURT VERDICT, CONGRATULTES GOVERNOR OYEBANJI

The leadership of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees, NULGE, Ekiti State has extended a heartfelt congratulations to the Governor of Ekiti State, Mr Biodun Oyebanji over his victory at the supreme Court.

The union in statement by its president, Comrade Oluseyi Olatunde notes that the verdict had finally laid to rest all misconceptions about the election adding the the Governor can now have the peace of mind to focus on governance.

According to him, the local government workers are happy at the victory because Oyebanji has shown that he is a man of excellence and ready to work.

He noted that since inception, the governor has been working tirelessly beyond expectations saying his removal would have been a disservice to the state.

Olatunde prayed God to give the Governor the strength and wisdom to deliver on his promises.

Olatunde however pleaded with the Governor to key into the reform of the local government and build a robust synergy with the third tier so as to be able to reach out to people at the grassroots.
