Ekiti Lawmaker-Elect Akinlayo Kolawole Mourns Former Deputy Governor

Winner of the House of Representatives election in Ekiti North Federal Constituency (II), Akinlayo Davidson Kolawole has commiserated with the government and people of Ekiti State, particularly Ado, over the demise of the immediate past Deputy Governor of the state, Otunba Bisi Egbeyemi.

Egbeyemi was reported to have died at the early hours of today at a popular Multisystem Hospital in Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital at the age of 79.

The Lawmaker-Elect commended Otunba Egbeyemi for his contributions to the development of APC, the state and Nigeria in general.

According to Kolawole, the former Deputy Governor will be missed because he died at a time his expertise, experience and direction are needed by the state.

While consoling the people of Ado Ekiti on the demise of one of their illustrious sons, the Ikosun-born entrepreneur urged them to take solace in God because the High Chief lived a fulfilled life.

Kolawole said that the absence of the deceased Former Deputy Governor will be felt by all, praying God to comfort the family of the former Deputy Governor and grant him a peaceful rest.
